Difficulty Getting There
Among U.S. adults who were interested in attending a specific performing-arts event but did not attend, these were the three leading barriers identified in NEA research.

So why should the digital experience feel like just another video?
The Elite Pianist
Not a library of piano videos. Not another streaming service. An evening built the way a concert hall would build one — the performance, the story behind it, the view you choose, and the artist answering your own question afterwards.

The composers, the history and the ideas behind the music you just heard.

Story
Before the performance, the piece and composer are introduced so you know what you’re about to hear.
After Jeremy plays, he takes you inside the music — the composer, the history, the ideas behind the piece, the interpretation, the technique, and what to listen for when you hear it again.
Positive Response to the Stories & Explanations
50 out of 50 early survey respondents
This is a count of how early attendees answered a post-performance question about the stories and explanations — 50 out of 50 respondents. It is observational feedback from those attendees, not a scientific finding, and it should not be read as a result that will hold for every future viewer.
Interaction
During each live experience the floor opens and Jeremy answers the audience directly. Not a comment thread, not a form — the pianist, minutes after the performance, answering the question you asked.
Positive Response to Live Q&A
50 out of 50 surveyed attendees
A count of how early attendees answered a post-performance question about the live Q&A — 50 out of 50 respondents. Observational feedback from those attendees, not a result that can be assumed to hold for every future viewer.

Performance
Anyone can put a piano in front of a camera. What you are listening to is the difference between a performance and a recital — and that difference is the artist.
Learn Directly From the Artist
Jeremy Ajani Jordan began performing on the national stage at just nine years old, appearing in a live televised performance of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1.
He later studied at The Juilliard School, earning undergraduate and graduate degrees on the Van Cliburn and Irene Diamond scholarships, and went on to make his solo Carnegie Hall debut.
A Steinway Artist, Jordan has performed internationally at venues including Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Tokyo Opera City, Prague’s Rudolfinum, the United Nations Arts Council, and Chicago’s Ravinia Festival, with appearances and recordings alongside the Chicago Sinfonietta and Czech National Symphony Orchestra.
Beyond performance, Jeremy is also a composer whose work has appeared on National Public Radio and received world premieres in the United States and Europe.
With Elite Pianist, Jeremy doesn’t simply perform the music — he takes you inside it, revealing the interpretation, technique, history and artistic decisions behind the performance.
Chicago-born Jeremy Ajani Jordan first performed a concerto in a live televised broadcast at the age of nine — Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 1. Following studies at The Juilliard School, where he received undergraduate and graduate degrees on the Van Cliburn and Irene Diamond scholarships, he made his solo Carnegie Hall debut and won the 2006 Steinway Concerto Competition.
Jordan has performed and recorded with the Chicago Sinfonietta and the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, appeared on the radio program From The Top — including From The Top: Live from Carnegie Hall — and played Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Tokyo Opera City, Prague’s Rudolfinum and Chicago’s Ravinia Festival, as well as appearances for the United Nations Arts Council. He has also performed live on WFMT Radio.
A Steinway Artist and former college professor, Jeremy is also a composer whose work has been featured on National Public Radio and has received world premieres in the United States and Europe.

More About the Experience
The Elite Pianist is a rare and immersive concert experience that allows audiences to step inside the mind of a world-class pianist. From the comfort of your own home, you experience masterworks of the piano repertoire performed live at the highest level—while also gaining access to the artistic, technical, and interpretive decisions behind the performance.
Beyond simply listening, members are invited into the thought process of the artist: how the music is shaped, how phrasing and touch are chosen, and how history, craftsmanship, and personal interpretation intersect. This is an opportunity to peel back multiple layers of the music and explore the minds of master composers and pianists such as Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Duke Ellington, and others—alongside the perspective of the pianist himself.
Performances are primarily live. Encore and Elite members also receive the recording of the live broadcast, which can be viewed an unlimited number of times during its 30-day replay window.
Sessions are hosted live online using the Zoom platform, allowing real-time attendance, Q&A, and member interaction.
Yes. Many members attend purely to listen, observe, and enjoy the performance experience.
After you purchase your membership package, you will receive an email from The Elite Pianist with the Zoom link to the upcoming concert. If you purchased access to more than one concert, you will receive the links individually prior to each event.
All concerts are broadcast live in HD on the Zoom platform. We recommend using headphones or high-quality speakers to enjoy the stereo sound, along with a monitor that supports at least 1080p resolution.
Styles may include classical, jazz, and gospel. Please refer to the seasonal calendar for specific programming.
The Elite Pianist is intentionally selective. Membership availability may be limited to preserve quality and intimacy.
It is designed for those who value discipline, refinement, musical excellence, and a higher standard of experience.
